Kyrgies All Naturals feature a thick chrome-free leather suede sole
Please note that effective January 22nd, Kyrgies has updated its sizing on many models. We did this to reflect extensive feedback that we have received from our customers. We suggest that you order true to size, when in the past we had encouraged people to size up if they were in doubt. If you already have a pair of Kyrgies that you are happy with, we suggest sticking with the same European size as your current pair.
Kyrgies All Naturals are built on a wider mold with less orthopedic shape to them. We recommend this model for those of you that have wider feet, or simply prefer a wider fit.
For people who suffer chemical sensitivities, these are the perfect pair of slippers. The felt is made of wool, water, natural soap, and low-impact dyes. The leather is tanned without chrome or chromium.
All Kyrgies are handmade using felting techniques that are centuries-old. The unique texture of these house shoes are the ultimate in hygge homeware. And for the more active types, they will invigorate your feet after a long day at work or a round at the gym.
The leather soles are durable and provide excellent grip. Leather soles are a style that have a natural feel and have stood the test of time.
Kyrgies house shoes are handmade in Kyrgyzstan by artisans using felting techniques that are, literally, centuries old. By wearing Kyrgies, you are embracing an old tradition of felted wool that was originally developed on the steppes of Central Asia but spread around the Western World via the infamous Silk Road. While our modern lives have brought us many conveniences, some things simply can't be improved upon. Wool felted shoes are one of those things.
The size I ordered was too small so I returned them in the same packaging for an exchange. I need a 7.5. I found it difficult to talk with anyone in customer service or even to communicate with you. I still don't know where the transaction is at. Still waiting on a call back. Thanks you. Love the product- just need the correct size.
Bought a pair for my daughter after she saw mine, and she loves them also! They are so warm and comfortable! It is important that socks are worn when slippers are new for about a week, until the stiffness of the wool lessens. This is to avoid irritation in areas around the ankle. Afterwards, there is no other slipper as cozy, warm and soft as a Kyrgie slipper!
We wear our slippers whenever we are in the House summer and winter. My partner and I completely wore out 5 pair between us in one year. Right through the sole, even with insoles. That’s a lot of wear. This year we have the ones with leather soles and the boot type, even gave some as Xmas gifts this year. We love them..
This is my third pair of Kyrgies (not counting the four pairs I've bought for friends/family) and I love them. It makes surviving Wisconsin winters more bearable.
