Description

Grown, spun and knitted in the USA, our climate-beneficial socks were developed in partnership with Fibershed, a non-profit organization developing regional fiber systems that expand opportunities to implement climate beneficial agriculture, rebuild regional manufacturing, and educate the public about the benefits of soil-to-soil fiber and dye systems.

Constructed of a special blend of climate-beneficial cotton, alpaca and merino wool, these socks stand up to Kyrgies rigorous comfort standard and will be a warm and cozy compliment to any of our house shoes or your other favorite footwear.

These have quickly become the favorite pair in our sock drawers and are easy to wash and care for. Because of the natural materials used, the fit of these socks will gradually loosen if worn multiple times between washes, but will snap right back to their original fit after a quick spin in the dryer, time and time again. We encourage you to wash and dry after each wear for optimal fit and comfort!

Materials:

80% C4 Cotton, grown in California’s San Joaquin Valley. Read about C4, the California Cotton & Climate Coalition, here.

10% Alpaca Wool, raised and sheared in North Salem, New York.

10% Merino Wool, raised and sheared in Dixon, California.

Each sock contains 8 strands of nylon and 2 strands of lycra, the minimum needed to keep them comfortably snug around your calves (no sock garters needed). We endeavor to use natural materials wherever possible, but socks without elastic in them will not stay in place.

Product Care

Turn inside out and machine wash, cold water and gentle cycle. Tumble dry, medium heat.
