Description
Kyrgies Limited Edition Sage Barefoot Slides: Easygoing Comfort, Handcrafted from Kyrgyz Wool
Each pair is handmade using traditional felting techniques that go back thousands of years. This style has a barefoot design, giving your toes more room to move naturally. The slight rise near the big toe creates space where your feet crave it, while reducing friction to help your Kyrgies last longer.
Product Care
Our slippers are crafted from wool felt, a material that is sensitive to water. Wool felt can lose its shape when wet, so machine washing is strongly discouraged. To keep your Kyrgies in top condition, we advise spot cleaning with a damp cloth and lukewarm water, followed by air drying. Dry cleaning is also a viable care option.
Sustainability & Craftsmanship
As a company, we’re concerned about what goes into the manufacturing processes of our house shoes and, as a result, onto our bodies.
Our commitment to low-impact and socially-responsible fashion doesn’t end there, though. All of our wool is sourced from small, family-owned flocks, while our factory in Kyrgyzstan pays fair wages to all its staff. We also work closely with a range of nonprofits and environmental movements to ensure our net impact is positive. Find out more about our commitment to sustainability here.

Bringing the Ancient Power of Wool Felt to Your Home
We create products for people that care about where their clothing comes from. People that also consider their homes to be a special place and look forward to the ritual of arriving home, taking off outdoor shoes, and embracing their Kyrgies.
Handmade
Handmade in Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan, a mountainous region of peaks and fertile valleys, Kyrgies embody the ancient, essential connection between the sheep that roam the hillsides and the Kyrgyz people that raise them for their wool.
Always Sustainable
Our factory's ability to produce wool felt is legendary. This can be attributed to the skill and love that the artisans give to their work. Every pair of Kyrgies that is produced is touched by the hands of many Kyrgyz artisans. From the sheep shearer to the quality control expert that signs off on every pair.
